Stardust is a Chinese VOCALOID4 female voice library, developed by Shanghai HENIAN Information Technology Co. Ltd., under request by Beijing Photek S&T Development Co., Ltd., released for YAMAHA's VOCALOID4 engine in April 2016. Her language is Chinese and she is the first Chinese VOCALOID4 voicebank. She was sold starting from April 13, 2016. Her Synthesizer V character "Minus" went public on August 12, 2020, and sold starting from September 10.
On August 25, 2021, her SynthesizerV AI voicebank Infinity was announced to be in development, with the MEDIUM5 official Weibo account releasing potential designs for it.[1]. The voicebank was officially released on February 2, 2022.

Design
On May 28, 2015, Vsinger announced the completion of the Yuezheng Ling voicebank along with the announcement of the newly commissioned voicebank "Stardust"[4]. On July 17, a new image of Stardust was announced on the day of the release of the Yuezheng Ling voicebank. [5]

 I buried a layer of gray and cold melancholy to the overall tone of this character, I imagined that this is a girl born in a cold universe, the universe's higher substratum, although full of energy and order, but did not have feelings. In the pure Ether (the ancient Greeks think the fifth element) of the sea, she was born from that sea, the Ether constitutes her body because of the feelings of real people to awaken. But feelings don't spread that far from reality. The difference between the Earth and the edge of the universe is millions of light-years, not to mention the higher sub-planes, yet there is something in the world that can spread our feelings, from the Earth to the Etheric Sea, and only waves, only music can do that. Newton died early, without telling everyone that sound cannot travel in the airless cosmic space. It was the love in the music that awakened her, and it was the bewilderment and inexplicable longing for the feeling of love that brought her to our world from the higher subplanes! This is probably my original setting for this character. Stardust's hair is made of Ether, the hair is Stardust's flight prop to this world, itself is grayish-white but can emit a cobalt blue glow; Stardust's four ponytails symbolize the four elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind. |

On August 12, 2020, the official Synthesizer V image "Minus" was released, with xiao Ye You Xi in charge of the character design.
