Skhizein is an animated short film about schizophrenia produced by Jérémy Clapin. It began airing at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2008.

Plot Summary

On one day, Henri Debrus, the main character who is still a normal person, "saw" a meteorite weighing 150 tons, which hit the antenna on the rooftop of the building opposite his house, and from then on, Henri found himself just 91 centimetres away from the level of the real world.

This 91 cm gap, life at home is not too bad, but it makes Henri completely unable to work properly. Therefore, he went to psychotherapy, but with little therapeutic effect.

One night, Henri noticed a meteorite in the sky, so he drove to the suburbs and tried to get the meteor to hit him and restore himself to normal. Unfortunately, after this, Henri deviated from the real world by an additional 75 centimetres of vertical distance.

Later, Henri develops more severe social withdrawal, he becomes more and more self-absorbed and lonely ......
