ReVorn is a virtual idol audition project created by AVALON Virtual Artist Production, a subsidiary of Avex.[1] The theme song of the project is "Rinne Tensho" (輪廻転生).
Concept
Gender, appearance, family, abilities, environment. From the starting point given in the middle,
they have made various choices and have reached the present.
This audition,
is a project that may make you "the one you want to be" and "the one you wanted to be".
It may be possible to be reborn from a virtual, clean state.
However, it's not easy. The theme this time is "reincarnation". In other words, you have to die once.
It means that you need to be prepared to change your "current self."
Only those who have decided at this moment can grasp the "afterlife".
If you decide to take this path, you are already different from yourself.
Receive a virtual new life and become an idol.
History
The project was announced on July 24, 2020.[2] Up until August 2020, the applicants were selected, from a total of 600,[3] and on September of the same year, the ten finalists were chosen. After being signed to AVALON, the applicants would receive full support for their activities such as livestreams on social media, vocal and dancing lessons, and participating in live music events.[4]
The music for the project was composed by music producer Yusuke Shirato (白戸佑輔).[5]
