Shanghai Characters License Administrative Co, Ltd., or SCLA for short, is a Chinese animation & tokusatsu copyright/brand (IP) agency.
Introduction
Shanghai Xinchuanghua Culture Development Co., Ltd. is a copyright (copyright) agency located in Shanghai, China. The business scope of the company's industrial and commercial registration includes intellectual property agency, animation design, enterprise management consulting, etc., and mainly engages in the introduction of various international (Japanese) IP contents, product introduction, commercialization authorization, offline activity authorization, game authorization and other businesses.
In December 2001, its predecessor, Shanghai Century Huachuang Cultural Image Management Co., Ltd., was established with the approval of the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. It was formally established in April 2002. It was established by Shanghai Century Publishing (Group) Co., Ltd., OAKS Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Xinhui. Culture and Entertainment (Group) Co., Ltd. holds shares and is a state-owned company. The former representative director of Bandai Japan Co., Ltd. Sugiura Kosho is the chairman, and the former BANDAI Asia strategy consultant, the first director of OAKS Co., Ltd., and the chairman of the supervisory board of Guangdong Jintian Animation Co., Ltd. Sun Jian is the director (now the general manager of SCLA). Among the directors are Yu Chunde (before October 2014), who was then a director of Shanghai Century Publishing Co., Ltd., and Gu Qin, the current chairman of Shanghai Xinhui Original Culture Technology Co., Ltd., and others.
In 2004, Ultraman Tiga was introduced to mainland China by SCLA. Since then, the company has started to operate the copyright of all Ultraman film and television works in mainland China.Cite error: Closing </ref>
