Moon-chan is the anthropomorphic moegirl of the Moon, a celestial body in the solar system and a natural satellite of the Earth.

Introduction

Moon-chan is the maid of Earth-chan. She is always at the side of Earth-chan. She has long straight silver-grey hair and blue pupils. She wears a maid outfit and holds a mirror in her hand, hoping to reflect some of Sun-chan's beauty. The light gives Earth-chan and helps Earth-chan warm herself, but the light she reflects is not much, which is not enough to add more warmth to Earth-chan.

The mirror in Moon-chan's hand will show different appearances depending on her menstrual cycle.

It is said that Moon-chan likes Ocean-chan under the earth girl very much , so she always uses various methods to fish out the Ocean-chan so that she can date the ocean girl. Since ancient times, many people have lived beside Moon-chan, such as Chang'e, the Moon Rabbit, Wu Gang, Princess Kaguya, etc.

In 1964, the three Armstrongs came to visit Moon-chan, but they failed to successfully deal with Chang'e and others. Later people who came to the moon also failed to successfully deal with Chang'e and others.

It is said that Moon-chan is very shy and is afraid of people pointing fingers at her, and she is even more afraid of Armstrong prying into her privacy. There are also legends that if people point at her randomly, she will cut off people's ears with a knife; in addition, some people think that Moon-chan is actually a trap. Therefore, in the Germanic language that retains the change of yin and masculine, the word meaning "moon" is masculine, and the word meaning "sun" is feminine. It is understood that, the elven girls in Middle-earth also believe that the moon is a tomboy.

The most famous "Moon-chan" character is Usagi Tsukino Usagi, the protagonist in Sailor Moon, who was also inspired by the Jade Rabbit.
